Bangladesh 2nd Health Care Camp

Rotary Club of Khulna North implemented the second “Health Care Camp” for the Rotary year 2012-13 with the assistance of the Rotary Club of Temecula, District 5330, USA on Wednesday, 15 August 2012 from 9:00 am (9:00 am to 1:00pm), at “Abdul Mannan Auditorium”, Muhsin High School, Daulatpur, Khulna.

Rtn. Dr. Saidul Islam, President R C Khulna North together with Rtn. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, and PE Dr. M. B. Zaman clinically examined the patients.  Diabetic (RBS) examination by Glueometer was done.  Members of the club and some Medical staffs assisted them to implement the project.  112 patients were provided medications and consultations.  Few patients were referred to Government hospitals for further Medicare.

Rotaractors and young Rotarians extended their help and support to recruit the patients from the surrounding slum areas.  Mr. Sk. Mofizur Rahman, and Mr. Shaikh Shajahan, the Chairman and the Head Teacher of Muhsin High School and Zonal Rotary leaders including Lieutenant Governor Rtn Farhad Ahmed Akand and some invited guests also observed the camp.
